Overview -
Integrate fully automated inspection equipment into existing manufacturing machinery.
Automation Engineer
* Liaise with the operations team and the chosen contractor to understand requirements.
* Develop, integrate, commission, and maintain new automated processes and equipment.
* Analyse PLC hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
* Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for future reference.
* Conduct system testing and validation to guarantee functionality, safety, and efficiency.
* Provide training to internal teams and manage planned maintenance / service.
Automation Engineer desirable skills and experience -
* Experience with industrial automation equipment - sensors, cameras, and communication protocols.
* Experience integrating new equipment with existing machinery.
* Experience with troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
* Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
