Job Description:
FP&A Analyst - Energy Sector - 10 month contract - Immediate Start - Hybrid working - Power BI and previous energy/large utilities experience is a must
My client is a worldwide household name in the energy and resources sector. They are looking for an experience FP&A analyst to join their team on an initial 10 month contract with a possibility of going permanent.
About the role:
* Preparation of the yearly budget and forecast presentations
* Looking after the forecasts and budget plans for the business
* Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts,reporting on the performance analysis of the business
* Review current operations on forecasts and budgets, making necessary changes
* In charge of the quarterly forecast
* Constantly recommending new ideas strategies to improve the system
About You:
* Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or overseas equivalent)
* Advanced Excel experience a must , with knowledge of BI tools an advantage
* Previous expeirence within a simialr industry: Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure etc.
* Detail conscious, with an ability to meet deadlines
* Be a clear and strong communicator
* Have a strong commercial awareness and experience in supporting senior leadership
