Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Resource Manager to work as part of the Future Infrastructure Programme (FIP) Business Operations team. Your focus will be on leading on establishing and delivering effective resource and capability management in support of the projects and programmes, delivering innovative solutions, holding functions to account, and working with complex data to provide insights to senior leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new team supporting a large-scale portfolio of projects.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate at least one of the following:
* Resource management/workforce planning experience.

* Recruitment experience, either significant experience recruiting as a line manager or in an HR/Talent Acquisition role

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
* Supply and demand/business planning experience.

* Stakeholder management and relationship building skills - this role involves working with and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels and both internal and external. It will also involve collaborative working within the immediate and wider team.

* The ability to analyse, manipulate, and interpret people and/or financial data.

* IT skills - including MS Office and PowerBI.

* Clear and concise communication approach both oral and written, at multiple levels. Confident in compiling presentations and presenting to peers and Senior Managers.

* Experience within a matrix organisation and/or working with delivery partners.

* Project management experience or experience supporting project, programme or portfolio management.

* CIPD or equivalent business-related qualification, or equivalent demonstrable experience.

* Experience with talent management/succession planning.

Responsibilities will include:
* Partnering and collaborating with individual projects/programmes to understand their resourcing issues, develop innovative solutions and develop and implement resourcing strategies in line with functional and programme strategic workforce plans.

* Driving consolidation of the workforce picture within each project/programme, understanding the workforce requirements, demand and supply across all functions within each project.

* Working with senior leadership and individual line managers to drive demand planning and recruitment activities, working alongside functional and programme resource planning.

* Consolidating, challenging and maintaining clarity of the full workforce position, data and organisational structure to include both AWE staff/contractors and external delivery partners/suppliers.

* Enabling cross-project performance and talent management in line with company processes and in support of functional and project requirements.

* Ensuring focus and momentum across recruitment for all projects, identifying and driving innovative solutions and external opportunities.

* Understanding project/programme single points of failure, develop strategies and plans, and manage mitigations to reduce risk.

* Delivering people capability and data reporting/business rhythm.

* Working with all functions to establish SLAs aligned to meet project requirements and establishing KPIs to measure functional workforce delivery performance.

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. Package: from £48,000 to £60,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
