The Building Control Surveyor Role. The successful Building Control Surveyor will lead on BSA/Building Regulations PD compliance, ensuring that all projects adhere to the latest regulations and safety standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, providing expert guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant regulations.. Responsibilities. * Leading the compliance process for BSA/Building Regulations PD on various projects.. * Providing expert advice and guidance on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations.. * Conducting thorough inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.. * Collaborating with design and construction teams to address compliance issues and implement best practices.. * Preparing and reviewing reports, documentation, and safety files.. * Liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure clear communication and effective compliance management.. * Delivering training and updates on the Building Safety Act 2022 and building regulations to internal teams and external stakeholders.. Requirements. * Extensive experience as a Building Control Surveyor, with a strong focus on compliance health and safety.. * In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and current building regulations.. * Proven ability to lead and manage compliance processes on complex projects.. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.. * A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with strong problem-solving abilities.. * Relevant qualifications in building control, surveying, or a related field..
