Job Title: Multi-Skilled Construction Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Nottinghamshire - Centre based
Salary: up to £34,000 (some flexibility DOE)

Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Duties:
* Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Multi-Skilled Construction (e.g. Carpentry/Brickwork/Plumbing), in a classroom-based environment. 
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
* Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners’ skills knowledge and behaviours
* Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
* Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
* Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
Criteria:
* Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Teaching or Assessing qualification.
* Must hold solid, occupational experience of employment within the Construction industry
* Hold a level 2 as a minimum within a Construction trade
* Ideally have experience of delivering training/workshops to groups of learners - or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
* Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
