Job Purpose
*Lead a significant and diverse portfolio of tax clients.
*Oversee the deliverables of junior tax staff, providing constructive mentorship and nurturing talent through knowledge sharing.
*Champion professional development for junior staff, inspiring the team around you.
*Preparation of tax computations, including complex matters.
*Provide sound technical knowledge across tax work, offering trusted advisory.
*Work closely with Partners to support the firm’s strategic direction, networking and scoping for new business opportunities.
*Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
*Set an example as a natural leader.
*Provide tax support to other departments across the firm.

The Successful Applicant
*ACCA or ACA qualified with extensive tax experience within practice.
*CTA or ATT qualification is desirable.
*Study support will be available for the right candidate.
*Previous experience overseeing and motivating a team.
*Sound working knowledge of technical tax matters.
*An up-to-date understanding of UK accounting standards.
*Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
*Natural leadership skills.
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
*Strong attention to detail.
*Able to lead a team with effective project management.
