Job Description:
Tate Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside an established local authority business in the heart of Brighton and Hove. We are currently recruiting for a Project Development Officer to join their City Environmental Management department.
Project Development Officer
* £16.63ph
* ASAP start until end of October 2024
* 37 hours per week
* Monday-Friday
* Fully onsite- Brighton BN1
Purpose of the Job as Project Development Officer:
* To manage specific projects within Cityclean and Parks.
* Responsible for supporting and developing projects within City Environmental Management.
* Act as a project contact for the City Clean project, liaising with project partners and businesses.
* Take responsibility for the delivery of the household behaviour change pilots.
* To undertake research and development with operational staff to improve performance in front line services.
Ideal candidate will possess in depth knowledge of one or more of the following:
* Community engagement work in a neighbourhood setting
* Community consultation and research
* Working with disadvantaged minority groups
* Development of groups or activities within a neighbourhood setting
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessments
