Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager for Property Services to support our Group Procurement Function in fulfilling repairs and maintenance requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Develop Sourcing Strategies: Formulate and implement sourcing strategies and overarching procurement strategies for Property Services.
Procurement Activities: Lead procurement activities to bring these strategies to fruition.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement processes comply with the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015.
Value Delivery: Demonstrate a successful track record in delivering outstanding value through innovative procurement solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:

Experience: Significant experience in procurement within the public sector, particularly with large value contracts.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience in procuring compliantly under the PCR 2015.
Professional Qualification: MCIPS qualification or working towards it is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and persuasion skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Specific Experience: Experience in procuring Maintenance and Building Services works and services is desirable.
Reporting Structure:

Report directly to the Senior Procurement Manager for Property Services.
Collaborate with a team comprising two Procurement Managers and a Procurement Officer.
Key Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proven experience in compliant procurement practices.
Ability to deliver high-value, innovative procurement solutions.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Effective articulation of procurement strategies and benefits.
Exceptional communication and persuasion skills.
Desirable experience in Maintenance and Building Services procurement.
