Senior Night Care Assistant * Location: Chorley

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our respite and dementia service team. This role is pivotal in providing personal support to our residents, coordinating with families and senior management, and overseeing care assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Day to Day of the Role: * Managing residents’ wellbeing and care plans, fostering independence and choice.
* Serving as an exemplary figure for the staff and overseeing the care assistant team.
* Adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, including the Health & Safety Act.
* Maintaining accurate records and conducting risk assessments.
* Cultivating therapeutic relationships with residents and their families.
* Working 12-hour night shifts from 8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
* Minimum of one year’s experience in a senior care assistant role.
* Proficiency in managing care plans and overseeing a team.
* Strong adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
