KS2 Teaching Assistant
Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Battersea, London
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: 2nd September 2024, TRIALS commencing this week
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a lovely primary school in Battersea as a full-time, KS2 Teaching Assistant. This role involves supporting Key Stage 2 pupils throughout their learning journey, providing valuable assistance within the classroom environment. This is a small, 1 form entry primary school that is rated Ofsted Outstanding.
Requirements:
* Child Workforce DBS on the update service is a must
* Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
* Prior classroom experience is advantageous, though not mandatory
* Recent graduates with a passion for education are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities: * Assisting the class teacher with various classroom activities
* Supporting pupils in their academic and personal development
* Collaborating with the teaching team to create a nurturing learning environment
* Engaging pupils in activities that encourage learning and growth
Skills and Attributes: * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
* Eagerness to learn and contribute to the education sector
* Adaptability and willingness to assist in various classroom tasks
