We have a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Data Manager to work with a National Healthcare charity.

About the role:

Working closely with the Head of Data & Insight, you will be tasked with creating a data management strategy, establishing strong procedures and policies to guarantee data quality and integrity throughout the association, and making sure all data systems are functional and meet business requirements.
In addition to overseeing the operation of the data systems, you will guarantee that users have the instruction, resources, and understanding necessary to optimise the benefits of data systems.
Key responsibilities include:

* Act as Product manager for supporter database and associated system.
* Work collaboratively across the organisation to make sure data, systems and processes are optimised.
* Responsible for ensuring the quality of our customer data, implementing data quality framework – including monitoring, data cleansing and minimum data requirements.
* Manage special projects and business as usual pipeline, prioritising workload across the team and make sure project briefs meet their objectives and actions are documented.
* Design and implement robust change control processes, carrying out impact analyses on how proposed changes will affect the wider organisation and finding optimal approach.
* Continuously reviewing cross organisational data processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and respond to business needs.
* Responsible for the training programme to ensure consistency and data quality.
* Lead and develop the data team members and create a supportive and motivated environment within the team.
* Undertake any other task relevant to the job purpose and ensure that all functions performed reflect the Associations mission and core values.
About you:

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of Fundraising Database Management within a Charity, other essential skills and experience include:
* Proven experience of fundraising or sales systems and process which include table management, importing and management of APIs. Experience of Dynamics 365 and/or Salesforce CRMs useful.
* Excellent understanding of customer relationship management systems and not-for-profit data desirable, with evidence of skills in manipulating and validating data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven experience of leading and managing a data team and project management skills, including experience of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Excellent communicator – confident communicating complex technical information and producing clear, concise and user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experienced at engaging and working with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
* Knowledge of ETL tools with experience in designing and building complex data transformations.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Access
