Job Description:
Assistant Accountant
Bury
Salary up to £35,000
I am working with a local family run business looking to appoint a hands on, dynamic assistant accountant.
They have always maintained their core principles to ensure the best journey for all customers.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ experience in accounts and possess strong skills in SAGE50, Xero, and Excel
Daily Duties:
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately
* Perform data entry tasks to maintain financial records
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
* Support the finance team in day-to-day operations
* Utilise accounting software such as Xero and Excel
Personal Profile:
* Experience within a similar finance role
* Ideally AAT qualified / QBE Experience
* Proficiency in Xero and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
