Role Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient cash flow management and maintaining robust financial controls. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will handle accounts receivable transactions, monitor overdue accounts, and collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate invoices and ensure timely distribution to clients.
* Monitor accounts receivable ageing to identify and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or queries.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of accounts receivable transactions.
* Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve billing and collection processes.
* Provide support for audits and ad-hoc financial projects as required.
* General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
* Prior experience in the travel or hospitality industry is advantageous.
