Job Description:
School Caretaker x2
Venn Group is currently recruiting for twoCaretakers to support the daily operations of four schools in Essex:
* 1 based in Colchester
* 1 based in Chelmsford
Hourly rate: £18.00 (Umbrella)
Duration:3 months
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00, 4 days per week
Location:Essex
The successful candidate willbe responsible for:
* Ensure school grounds are upkept and maintained to high standards
* Conduct site walks and inspections of buildings and equipment
* Keep Smartlog system up to date and maintain records of issues and remedial works
* Undertake risk assessments
* Liaise with external contractors adn staff for any disruptions
The successful candidate will have:
* Enhanced DBS
* Previous experience carrying out maintenance with a strong understanding of H&S policies
