A distinguished multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Principal Designer to join their dynamic team in Newcastle.
This medium-sized consultancy is renowned for delivering top-tier services across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and public projects.
The successful Principal Designer will
* Provide expert advice on health and safety during the design phases of projects.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and design reviews.
* Ensure compliance with the CDM 2015 regulations.
* Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and contractors.
* Prepare and manage pre-construction information and health and safety files.
* Facilitate and lead design workshops and safety briefings.
Requirements
* Degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a Principal Designer role.
* Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations.
* Proven experience in design risk management.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
* Membership with IOSH or APS preferred.
