I am currently working with an established manufacturing business in Rossendale, who are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant, expanding their finance team following continued innovation and growth.


This role is working with an excellent FC, with opportunities for further personal development and progression.
Package: Salary up to £40,000, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance & pension
Management Accountant - Responsibilities

* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Preparation of group reporting pack including FX adjustments
* Complete Balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns including returns in Ireland and Netherlands
* Accruals and prepayments
* Investigating variances against budget
* Provide accurate management reporting to assist with key decision making
* Developing and overseeing financial systems and procedures and identifying opportunities to improve these
* Financial support on ad hoc projects
* Providing support to finance team
Management Accountant – Requirements

* Experience gained within a similar Management Accountant role
* Part or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to adhere to deadlines
* Strong IT skills particularly Excel
* Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation
* Organised and diligent
