Job Description:
About the role... Your role as Licensing Coordinator is varied and dynamic. You bridge data and operations between Poundland and Pepco, covering both Clothing and General Merchandise. 
Reporting into the QA Manager, you will be the face of Licensing and be vital in shaping Poundland’s strategy to align with Pepco, ensuring a coordinated approach.
This role can be based from Watford or Walsall, with hybrid working between home and both our head offices.

Your Impact and Responsibilities… • Manage Licensing Agreements: Oversee licensing agreements to ensure compliance and register all licensed products.
• Factory Approvals: Request factory approvals and applications for individual licenses.
• Recall Management: Act as the contact for all licensing withdrawals or recalls.
• Product Sign-Off: Handle the end-to-end sign-off process for products unique to Poundland and approve all products for shipment after QA checks.
• Forecast Management: Finalise quarterly forecasts across General Merchandise and Clothing.
• Marketing Coordination: Work with marketing to align in-store and social media marketing materials.
• Relationship Building: Act as the face of Licensing for Poundland, building strong relationships with licensors, Pepco, Marketing, Finance, Merchandising, and Buying teams.
• Sales Tracking: Monitor and track sales of licensed products, building a database of effective strategies.
• Support Promotions: Collaborate with the team to support licensing promotions and displays, including online.
• Contract Negotiation: Support contract negotiations and provide detailed quarterly sales performance reports to Pepco. Skills and Knowledge… • Experience: Previous experience in licensing and regulatory compliance, especially in retail, is highly desirable.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech-savvy: Proficiency in using Excel and Microsoft Office or other relevant software.
• Problem-solving: Ability to handle complex licensing issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Team Player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a team. About us...
