Description. * Keep an eye on stock levels and make sure they’re good.. * Negotiate material costs to get the best deals.. * Review costs and spot trends for manufactured goods.. * Price products based on what customers need.. * Maximise margins for all products.. * Know the margin mix across different SKUs to balance sales and margin.. * Understand operational processes and their impact on manufacturing costs.. * Have a strong grasp of materials and substrates.. * Help the Production Manager by processing work orders and monitoring stock.. * Balance product quality with customer needs.. * Be familiar with key suppliers,especially their pricing and product quality.. * Respond quickly to customer requests and prioritise important customers.. * Communicate well with the Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams..
