Our client is seeking a highly motivated Multiskilled Engineer to join their busy team, on a full-time permanent basis. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal efficiency and uptime of their automated production machinery.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out maintenance on automated production machinery
* Improve preventative maintenance routines
* Manage mechanical and electrical fault finding, using three phase control systems
* Fault finding & repairing hydraulic or pneumatic systems
* Undertake small installation projects
* Optimise machine efficiency through continuous improvement
* Keep a clean and maintained work space, including transit areas to and from workshops and client visits
* Support operations team in achieve targets
* Comply to health and safety policies and procedures
* Contribute to cost effective technical solutions
* Participate in weekend call-out rota’s
* Adhered to budgetary requirements, but carrying out route cause analysis and predictive/preventative planning
Skills & Experience:
* Obtained an engineering qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
* Experience working within mechanical/electricals works, breakdowns, repair and fault diagnosis
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills, especially withing PLC’S, drives and inverters
* Strong understanding of engineering diagrams, HV/LV Switchgear and electrical drivers
* Excellent communication skills
* Full clean driving license and access to a car is essential
