We are currently recruiting for a Client Accountant to join a Contracting and Accounting firm based in the Stockport, Cheshire area.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Duties will include:
* Communicating with clients
* Maintaining client records
* Preparation of statutory year end accounts
* Filing tax returns for companies and directors
* Preparing PAYE and NI returns
* Registering the company for all relevant taxes 
* Preparing and delivering a submission of Quarterly VAT returns  
* Preparing quarterly management accounts
* Issuing and filing company accounts for director’s signature
* Corporation tax computation and CT600 filings
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience using SAGE
* Be AAT qualified or ACCA part qualified or is an Accounting & Finance graduate
* Have a minimum B grade in GCSE Maths
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be keen to develop 
* Be a great team player, who can take on challenges whilst working in a face paced environment
