Early Careers Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary ECT (Early Career Teacher) to join a supportive team within a PRU setting in Manchester.
This school is for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health, therefore prior experience within an SEMH setting is ESSENTIAL. The school offer an adapted timetable for the children, to full stimulate and engage with them.
The role is to start September 2024 and will be long term, potentially permanent for the right candidate.

Your role & responsibilities:
* To ensure high quality education for all pupils in a designated class and improve the quality of learning and standards of achievement
* To carry out and meet the professional standards for teachers
* Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils.
* Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils including those with SEND
* Administer end of Key Stage testing and assessment where appropriate
* Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect
Non-negotiables:
* Must have a primary teaching degree with QTS
* Must be able to provide a minimum of two teaching references within the past two years
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
