My client - a world renowned entertainment business based in FARRINGDON STATION is seeking an ACCOUNTS_ASSISTANT to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth! This is working in their accounts team and will help key external stakeholders with their accounts.
PLEASE NOTE - This role is based in the office for 3 out of 5 days (Mon,Tue & Thu)
Responsibilities
* Processing invoices, staff expenses & credit cards onto the accounting system ensuring the correct authorisation are obtained
* Setting up supplier payments through the banking system
* Raising sales invoices and monitoring/chasing outstanding debts
* Bank reconciliations
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Supporting the needs of the production team with specific tasks, such as management of floats, as well as various ad-hoc queries that arise during production
* Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts through posting journals and other month-end tasks
* Assistance with monthly payroll and pension auto enrolment process
* Ad-hoc work as directed by the FC including operational and administrative tasks
* Production accounting tasks as directed by FC, including reconciliation of cost reports to Sage actuals
Experience and Skills required
* Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
* A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
* Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
* Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
* Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
* Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Well organised, with the ability to keep to strict deadlines in a face paced and high growth environment
