Job Overview:
We are looking to recruit a Secondary ECT to join our partner schools in advance for the new academic year. As a Teacher you will be responsible for teaching in your subject specialism from KS3-KS4 on a long term basis from the new academic year. The role can go temp-perm for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Teach, plan, mark and assess lessons within your subject specialism
- Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Provide support and guidance to students in their academic and personal development
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
- Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and resources
Requirements:
- PGCE/QTS in your chosen field
- Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in special education or tutoring roles
- Strong knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for helping students succeed academically and personally
