Financial Controller (3 Month Contract Potential to be Extended)

£300 - £350 Per Day (Outside IR35)

Axon Moore are working with a high growth, Technology business with HQ operations in the Salford Quays area.

The main purpose of the Interim Financial Controller is to maintain existing financial processes, whilst reviewing them, and recommending areas for improvement. In addition you will help to transition the Finance function from producing financial reports for a single entity, to one that produces group financial reports, which is a key milestone within the clients 5 year plan

Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of an integrated cash flow/P&L/BS forecasting model
• Review and make recommendations to strengthen the month end income/cost recognition process
• Work with the Tech function to strengthen/automate processes & data integrity where possible
• Work with business stakeholders to strengthen flash P&L projections and quarterly overhead forecasting
• Responsibility for the finances of the business, monitoring financial performance and producing relevant     reports, cash flow forecasting and month end management account packs
• General ad-hoc duties to assist and cover the Director of Finance and Commercial and the wider business

This role will suit a confident person who is comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders, and utilising those relationships to extract and share important information.

The successful person will be driven and determined in working to deadlines, whilst looking to find ways that can improve the processes of how the business do things.
