Class 2 Delivery Driver 
Monday to Saturday (working 4-5 days a week): Start times are either 6.00AM or 10.30AM
Pay Rate: £14.28 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties
As the face of the business in the local area, your day will start with you spending time ensuring you have everything needed for the day ahead and carrying out your daily vehicle checks. You’ll then be responsible for:
* Delivering furniture, home furnishings and white goods to customers homes with a drivers mate.
* Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and obtain customer signatures for deliveries, as well as ringing ahead of a delivery to ensure the customer is at home.
* Completing daily checks to ensure you have everything you needed to be delivered for the day.
* Manual handling is involved in this role as you will be assisting the porter to deliver items on board.
Essential Skills
* Full UK driving licence (category C), tacho card & CPC Card – C1 licence holders also accepted.
* Good Time Keeping.
* A professional appearance and attitude, & confident when dealing with people.
* The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
* Familiar with manual handling of heavier items.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
What training is provided?
* Training on the PDA scanners, manual handling and routing systems will be provided.
