Job Description:
Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location - Calne
Type: Ongoing Contract
Working pattern - Monday to Friday DAYS
Our client, are a leading engineering company who manufacture/refurbish engineering parts for the rail industry supplying a global client base.
Due to an increase in the workload they are now looking to recruit 2 additional Mechanical Assemblers to join their business unit in Calne.
Responsibilities:
* The dismantling and assembling of large mechanical units.
* Using a variety of hands to aid the dismantling of the units.
* Replacement of faulty parts
* Testing of refurbished units
* Cleaning and improving areas of the site
Skills/Experience required:
* Experience within an Engineering environment.
* Mechanical assembly skills
* Manual dexterity to handle tools and components.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
This position will see you working a 37-hour week on days 07:00 - 15:30 Monday Thursday and 07:00 - 12:00 Friday.
This role will offer an immediate start for the right candidate.
