Pure are currently recruiting a part time Financial Accountant on behalf of a growing technology organisation based in Cambridge. This role could be between 20 and 25 hours per week, ideally worked over 5 days however this is flexible. 

The organisation are based in Cambridge but the role is fully remote so you must be comfortable working from home, there will be company meet ups on a quarterly basis so you will need to be local to the Cambridge area. 

Reporting into the Financial Controller this position will form part of 3 and will be responsible for the following - 

- Managing the day to day sales and purchase ledger tasks
- Preparation of month end reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Reconciling the intercompany balances 
- Preparation of the monthly consolidated balance sheet
- Review the monthly profit and loss
- Calculating and processing the monthly deferred revenue
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting the FC with the annual audit and providing required information
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT return

You must be a qualified Accountant and proven bookkeeping experience, you will ideally have previous experience using Xero and Quickbooks however this is not essential. This role will suit somebody that is looking for flexibility on working hours and the ability to work from home, however it is essential that you are able to cope with and prioritise your own workload.
