PE Teacher - Felixstowe - September 2024 - Full Time
Prospero Teaching is looking for a PE Teacher for a Secondary school in the Felixstowe area. This will be starting in September 2024 half term on a full-time basis.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The school is a forward-thinking but traditional mainstream Secondary School with a supportive PE department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. The school does have a 6th form, although most of the timetables for this role will be key stage 3 and key stage 4.
The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.

* Location - Felixstowe area
* Position - PE Teacher
* Type of work - PE Teacher
* Contract or position start date - September 2024
* Duration / Likely Duration - Temporary to Permanent
* Contract or likely end date - Ongoing
* Contract type - Temporary
* Full-time/part-time - Full-time
* The minimum rate of pay - The minimum rate £140 for qualified teachers
* Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings and meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* QTS, QTLS or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year PE Teacher
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references
