Responsibilities

* Support delivery of our client’s Finance transformation project for Syndicate’s 1183 and 2019. including: * Ledger transition from SUN to SAP, including conversion and cut-over
* Set up of operational processes and controls - including journals, reconciliations and ensuing documentation is in place for key processes and controls
* Lloyd’s reporting build from SAP FW
* Migration of EUCs from our client’s to AIG networks
* Support on Lloyd’s reporting changes and Blueprint 2

* Providebackfill support to the Syndicate finance team, where required: * Ensuring complete, accurate and timely syndicate reporting: * Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly submissions to AIG

* Supporting Lloyd’s regulatory reporting, including QMA, QMB, Pillar 3, GQD, TPD, international, tax and SITUS reporting
* Assisting with additional adhoc reporting
* Ledger maintenance including quarterly preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

Knowledge & Experience:

* Lloyd’s market experience - essential
* Insurance experience - essential
* Qualified Accountant - preferred
* Advanced Excel skills essential
* Good knowledge of US, UK GAAP and Lloyd’s regulatory reporting rules
* Good knowledge of financial processes and controls
* Good knowledge of Lloyd’s accounting and processes
* Good communication skills
* Numerate and good analytical skills
* Team focussed, personable and willing to get involved in new areas
* Ability to coach and develop more junior members of the team
