We have an exciting opportunity for a Resilience Partnership Portfolio Manager to join the Strategy & Regulation function at Yorkshire Water.

What we do:

Everyone has an idea of what a water company does. Here in Yorkshire, we make sure that over 5.4 million people living in the region and the millions of people who visit our region each year, can rely on our services, and have clean and safe drinking water on tap and that their wastewater is taken away. But for us, its so much more than this.
We look after communities, protect the environment, and plan to look after Yorkshires water, today, tomorrow 24/7, 365 days a year. We provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region, and play a key role in the regions health, wellbeing, and prosperity.
New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry.
The Resilience Partnership Portfolio Manager sits within our Strategy & Regulation function. We have a key aim to deliver more for our customers and the environment by working in partnership, wherever the opportunity arises. We know that an opportunistic approach allows us the flexibility needed to work with partners who are adhering to different timescales and demands. With our strategic planning partner, Stantec, we have created a governance framework which allows us to keep partnership opportunities under regular review so that these can be identified throughout the planning period.
Through enhancing existing relationships and building new ones, we will look to create value across our programmes by aligning investment and seeking opportunities to work with those who can enhance our offering. This could involve coordinating activity within a set location to minimise disruption and optimise infrastructure improvements, managing land for multiple outcomes.
