Rate: £450-525 a day pay + overtime as required (deemed Inside IR35)

Contract for an Experienced F5 Engineer with LTM expertise to join a global change team within a global banking project. Providing implementations, configurations and support. Some out of hours change work will be required during the project (ranging from once a month to one a week).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver on premise configuration across F5, DNS, and routing and switching environments Implementation of LTM across global Web suite change work will be required outside of core hours
* Configure existing LTM and assist with enabling WAF in F5.

* Troubleshooting and vendor management in case of error in the environment and functionality
* Create supporting design, execution and change management documentation
* Ensure that Service Delivery Targets are met for services.
* Develop automation capabilities to reduce infrastructure complexity and manual effort
* Collaborate and communicate with business stakeholders and IT teams
* Planning, design, and implementation in case of maintenance activities
KEY SKILLS

* Strong hands-on experience with designing, configuring, and troubleshooting F5 LTM

* SME in LTM

* Experience of implementing new LTM packages. -Working knowledge of DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM), Cisco routing & switching.

Writing custom irules to assist defense against DDOS attacks.
