What you’ll be doing
As a General Operative, you will join our Planned Works team, assisting in the delivery of a planned program of new Kitchens and Bathrooms for our customers, working with a variety of skilled trades.
Your main duties will be collecting and delivering stock and waste to and from sites, some basic decoration and fitting work. We are a forward-thinking organisation, so technology will play an important part in your role and as such you must be comfortable using a tablet device.
More about you
The successful General Operative will ideally have some basic trade competency, with experience of delivering high quality and timely works to domestic dwellings. Previous experience of a customer facing role will also be an advantage.
You will also have the aptitude to work with mobile technology and demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service.
You will need to have a full driving license as you will be allocated your own van. (Please confirm this on your application and/or accompanied CV).
There will be a drivers assessment to complete as part of the recruitment process.
At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same.
We will need to take up a Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
