On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager
for a 6-month contract,
based hybrid
in Bristol.

Purpose of the Role:

A great opportunity to join an Accounting Operations Finance team within Lloyds Banking Group, to support the operation of critical finance activities on behalf of the team and wider function. Our Bristol team covers a range of roles, including systems, finance oversight, and ledger operations.
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Providing support to team manager and team to meet deadlines, in completing reconciliations, running SOX control activities on projects and transformation activities.
* Ensuring BAU activities are run smoothly while Finance function completes their transformation journey. Understand the impact of transformation on our process and assist with relevant UAT activities where required.
* Taking responsibility for reviewing projects and understanding the impacting on BAU and transformation activities within the team
* Working collaboratively as trusted partners, drawing on analytical thinking, pragmatism, and resilience. Building deeper understanding of the reconciliation process to allow for process improvement.
* Willingness to challenge existing processes and improve systems. In this role, process improvement plays a pivotal role in achieving success.
* driven to produce quality work. Understanding the bigger picture. Consider why the reconciliation process matters and who it impacts. This perspective helps ensure meaningful outcomes.
What we require from the candidate:

* Highly organised, attention to details and be adaptable.
* Proficiency in using finance systems and software would be an advantage or a proven ability to learn new systems in a short timescale.
* Fully qualified or part- qualified accountant.
* Experience in financial services.
