We are looking for an Electricity Asset Engineer
who would like to help us reach our mission of making lasting connections with our customers to improve their lives.



As the Electricity Asset Engineer your key responsibilities are

To assist the Asset Manager and Policy & Standards Engineer with the development of the Companies Inspection and Maintenance policy and standards.
Support the Electricity Asset Audit team and the inspection of assets.
To review and prioritise any remedial works necessary as a result of feedback from the Electricity Asset Audit team (non-conformances).
Work closely with Head of Electricity Asset Management, Asset Manager, clients, contractors and internal resources to ensure that the standards are complaint with all relevant Legislation.
Responsible for supporting all Health and Safety issues regarding the Maintenance of GTC networks.



About you

Minimum of HNC standard in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Have a good understanding of the operation and maintenance of electrical distribution plant.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
The ability to write technical standards for implementation on the Electrical Distribution Network.
