Management Accountant
Runcorn
Full-time, permanent
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Our client, a well-established company based in Runcorn is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Main Duties
As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:
* Production of management accounts
* Commercial analysis and reporting
* Producing monthly profit and loss accounts and variance reports
* Reviewing operational income and expenditure
* Ensuring accuracy of monthly reporting is maintained to a high standard
* VAT reconciliations and returns
* Monitoring performance indicators
* Working with Commercial Accountants to produce performance reports for quarterly reviews along with rolling P&L forecasts
* Identifying opportunities to improve cost management
Experience & Skills:
* Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
* AAT part or fully qualified - desirable.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
