Accounts Admin
Knutsford
Full-time, permanent
£24,000 - £26,000
Our client based in Knutsford is looking experienced accounts admin to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising of sales invoices and posting Payments
- Credit Control - ensuring customer accounts are run within credit limits and customers pay within agreed terms payments
- Chase customer payments by email and/or phone - reducing aged debt
- Issuing monthly statements to customers
- Process credit & debit card payments
- Setting up new accounts
- Consulting with customers/suppliers on queries
- Processing the Purchase ledger
- Matching Goods Received Notes to Purchase Invoices
- Checking prices invoiced to the company against Purchase Orders & inputting of invoices
- Preparing payment runs of suppliers
- Reconciling purchase ledger to supplier statements
- Processing company credit card accounts
- Process of monthly journals as required to SAGE & payroll
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Processing expense claims
- Month end reconciliations required with the general ledger
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
