* Hybrid - 3 days in 2 from home
* Salary - up to £50,000
* Location - City of London
What can you expect?
* Prepare annual financial statements
* Prepare journals and supporting working papers
* Analyse variances and explain underlying performance to others
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare regular forecasts and a 5-year Business Plan
* Produce monthly management accounts
* Prepare monthly VAT workings
* Maintain a strong internal control environment
* Raise revenue invoices and prepare cash flow forecasts to manage cash balance
* Liaise with accounts payable to process invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Commercial Manager, Director of Services, and Regional Director
* Support external and internal audits for UK business
* Prepare elements of the UK Financial Reporting Pack
* Post journals as required
What skills/attributes will you bring?
* Part qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
* Strong communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to challenge stakeholders
* Sound knowledge of accounting standards and their day-to-day application
* Experience of Microsoft Office, including strong excel skills
