Job Description:
Trainee Financial Adviser * Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part Remote)
* Location: Newcastle / Hybrid
* Salary: Negotiable, £30-£32k once Competent Adviser Status is achieved, plus bonus. OTE - £45k
The ideal candidate will provide expert financial advice, develop personalised financial plans, and possess excellent organisational skills. This role offers part-remote working flexibility, allowing for an effective balance between professional and personal life.
Day to Day of the role: * Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their financial goals and circumstances.
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice.
* Deliver tailored financial advice across various products, including investments, pensions, insurance, and estate planning.
* Analyse clients’ financial status and create comprehensive plans to meet their objectives.
* Keep abreast of financial markets and trends to offer current advice and strategies.
* Regularly review client portfolios and adjust plans as needed.
* Ensure all financial advice adheres to regulatory standards and company policies.
* Maintain precise records of client interactions and financial transactions.
* Generate and present detailed reports to clients on financial plans, performance, and recommendations.
* Seek new client acquisition opportunities and engage in networking and promotional events.
* Work with the marketing team to develop and execute business development strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field is desirable.
* Minimum Level 4 Financial Advice diploma, CII or LIBF.
* Experience as a Financial Adviser or similar role is preferred.
* Proven ability to provide high-quality financial advice and build client relationships.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in financial planning software and tools.
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
* High level of integrity and professionalism.
* Strong organisational skills.
