Salary: £39,415 - £50,611 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team!
As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for the completion of works to improve the health index of the network.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver maintenance to ensure reliable performance and network security to meet regulatory and business plan objectives as well as responsible for helping to continuously deliver safe outcomes for the workforce, customers and the environment.
- Ensure that SSEN’s customers remain at the core of every decision to ensure great customer service performance and value is delivered by self, team and contract partners, to meet and exceed customer and regulator expectations.
- Operate to a customer-led productivity and performance culture for all staff by delivering the work planned and scheduled by the scheduling team in an efficient and effective manner so that we will achieve our business targets and remain within budgetary parameters.
- Understand and ensure that issues on the network are dealt with appropriately and proactively, to minimise risk to project, asset or programme.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering of other relative engineering discipline (or relevant experience in a similar role).
- Proven experience in site project and contractual management.
- Basic understanding of how a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) operates and generates revenue and incentives within the current price control period.
- Site Managers Safety Training or IOSH Managing Safety.
- Relevant operational/technical experience and knowledge - SAP experience on EHV/HV/LV systems Training/Development will be provided.
Travel is required and as a result we can only accept applications from candidates that hold a current driving licence.
