The role of IT Support Assistant will be to support and maintain desktops, laptops, software, and associated peripherals. This includes installing, configuring, and supporting operating systems and applications, participating in remote site administration, and engaging in production support activities. . Will be part of IT Infrastructure Team, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager. . Roles and Responsibilities IT Support Assistant (Graduate) - . * Responding to end-user support requests.. * Communicating with end users to identify the nature of their problems.. * Potentially traveling to satellite offices and being available to work after hours as needed.. * Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.. * Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.. * Installing and upgrading operating systems and software.. * Completing job reports and ordering necessary supplies.. Key Requirements for this IT Support Assistant (Graduate) -. * Graduate with some experience within IT. * Ideally having 6 months + of desktop support experience would be desirable. * Having knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems will be advantageous but not essential . * Willingness and ability to learn new skills and use new types of information.. * Competency in installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and software on PCs and related equipment..
