Interim Finance Manager - Marketplace

A fast-growth marketplace business whose platform connects other likeminded emerging businesses with consumers across the UK, are rapidly expanding their operations and seeking a highly skilled Interim Finance Manager to join their team and contribute to the businesses continued success. As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations by providing financial guidance and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
* Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic planning.
* Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and provide recommendations for optimizing working capital.
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
* Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with 2+ years PQE
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Previous experience working for a fast-growth Tech business.
* Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).
* Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
