Duties of the Ledger Manager:
* Manage the European AP functions
* Sign of supplier payments
* Improvement of credit terms
* Expenses management
* Administration of letters of credit and import loans
* Petty cash sign off
* Timely close off of ledgers at month end
* Credit applications
* Implementation & improvement of AP document scanning
* Manage the European AR functions
* Escalation of debt collection – contact customers where appropriate
* Sign off of debit notes / credit note requests
* Customer credit assessments
* Improve and maintain debt collection days
* Validate rebate claims
* Authorise bank charges
* Oversee accurate posting of customer receipts
* Provide forecasts of customer receipts and supplier payments
* Manage invoice finance facility and complete monthly reconciliations.
* Manage staff both on site and remotely
* Develop KPIs and report on achievements
* Contribute to and lead on process improvements
* Agree inter-company balances
* Align group processes and procedures
* Other ad hoc reports/duties as required by the business
Person Specification:
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
* Experience in SAP Business One
* Use of SAP concur
* Language skills an advantage though not essential especially French or Polish
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team
* Project implementation
