Job description Our well established client is looking for an experienced industrial engineer to cover service and corrective works within the Northern regions and into Scotland
Ideally you need to be based within the Northern regions to be within commuting distance.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am-17:00pm
Friday’s 7:30am-15:30pm
Key duties and responsibilities
* Routine maintenance of installations
* Occasional repair / parts replacement on installations
* Completing online service reports for finished works and recommendations for further works
* Completing post-visit service reports on our online systems
* Working alone or sometimes as a pair
* Customer liaison on a daily basis
* Requiring daily travel and occasionally staying away for up to a week at a time
* Occasional request for weekend work with ’in lieu’ days provided
* Possibility of occasional overseas assignments
* Will require you to become security / DBS cleared at an early stage
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* At least 5 years’ experience in maintaining industrial doors (Advantage)
* Lift engineer or overhead crane engineer background (Advantage)
* Mechanical Electrical engineering background
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* 18th Edition / Electrical qualifications
* IPAF/DHF-trained.
* CSCS Card
* Full UK Driving Licence
