Finance Assistant
Permanent
Hove
Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office after handover
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum plus pension, 25 days holiday, private health cover plan and more
Tony Alan Recruitment is currently recruiting an exciting job opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join an established and professional SME business in the Hove area on a permanent basis.
Your duties will include:
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries to include managing and reconciling prepay and accrual schedules, managing the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules and any other day to day accounting procedures as required.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records as required.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
* Provide support and carry out posting journal entries for payroll processing.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 experience in a similar finance role
* Proficiency in financial software and Excel
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
