Location: Home based with travel (country wide)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full time 52 weeks per year

We have an exciting opportunity for a Restraint Reduction Practitioner to join our team.
About the role
As a Restraint Reduction Practitioner at Outcomes First Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals within our specialist schools for children with autism, specialist schools for children with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as children’s and adults’ care homes. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies aimed at reducing the use of restrictive interventions while promoting positive behaviour support and utilising Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) - Safety Intervention techniques.
Qualification & Experience:
* Extensive experience working with individuals with autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs in educational, residential, or clinical settings.
* Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) - Safety Intervention techniques.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act, and experience navigating regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and effectively train and support staff members.
* Commitment to promoting dignity, autonomy, and person-centred care for all individuals, with a passion for making a positive difference in their lives.
* Degree or equivalent
