Position: Payroll Assistant
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: DOE

The Payroll Assistant will support the Payroll Manager in processing payroll for all company employees accurately and timely. This role involves maintaining payroll records, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance. The Payroll Assistant will also assist in resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Processing: Assist in preparing and processing payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and legal requirements.
* Data Entry: Update employee payroll information, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
* Timekeeping: Verify and reconcile timesheets and attendance records.
* Deductions and Benefits: Calculate and process deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
Key Skills:
* Experience with either ACCESS Select HR or ACCESS XD
* Experience dealing with Equated pay
