Job Description:
One of our leading NHS clients is looking for experienced mental health nurses to cover the shifts in the acute hospitals in London.
Roles & Responsibilities: * Conduct Assessments: Evaluate mental health needs and create care plans.
* Administer Medications: Manage and monitor prescribed medications.
* Provide Therapeutic Support: Deliver interventions like counseling and CBT.
* Handle Crises: Respond to mental health emergencies and develop safety plans.
* Maintain Documentation: Keep accurate patient records and communicate with the care team.
Skills & Experience Required: * Requires at least 12 months of post-registration NHS experience.
* Holding an ILS certificate would be desirable.
* Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to work.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centered approach.
