Accounts Payable Clerk - Chertsey (hybrid) - up to £25,000

Job purpose/summary:
* Responsibility for AP ledger.
* Supporting added value to drive the business forward and upholding strong financial controls and governance.
Key Accountabilities and decision ownership:
* Process supplier invoices and credit notes in line with the company policies and procedures
* Match invoices and credit notes to goods received notes and purchase orders.
* Resolve invoice queries by liaising with purchasing, sales managers and external stakeholders.
* Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
* Prepare documentation for supplier payment runs.
* Setting up new supplier accounts and ownership of bank account verification proves.
* Process expenses claims and credit card claims.
* Assist with month end journals preparations and postings.
* Undertake specific finance or business projects working alongside other functions as requested.
About you…
* Grade c+ in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Excellent Excell Skills
* Ability to communicate effectively
* Strong attention to detail
* Self-motivated, so can operate independently with minimum daily direction
