My client, a global technology business based near WATERLOO STATION is seeking a TEMPORARY_ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK_to join their growing business.

THE ROLE
* Managing the Purchase Ledger for multiple companies and currencies - processing high volumes of purchase invoices, ensuring all transactions are approved and accurately coded
* Reviewing and processing high volumes of employee and contractor expense claims - validating if they’re within policy and correctly coded
* Supporting implementation and management of purchase order process
* Assisting with the analysis and reconciliation of the Company bank accounts and credit cards on a weekly basis
* Performing quarterly audit readiness reviews to streamline the annual audit process
* Assisting with weekly payment runs
* Assisting with Procurement process
* Assisting with month end journals, including accruals, and reviews
* Ownership of process improvements within Accounts Payable
* Other ad hoc responsibilities as they occur
THE IDEAL PERSON
* 2 or more years of experience in a AP role
* NetSuite is a must have
* Deep understanding of VAT and Sales tax reporting and compliance.
* Experience dealing with high volumes of data.
* Good working knowledge of Excel (including v-lookups & pivot tables).
