We are working with a well established and successful Manufacturing company who are based near Erskine. They are looking for an experienced Materials Handler to join their growing team.
Within this role, you will be working within the warehouse team performing material handling duties including picking & packing, of customer orders to meet tight deadlines ensuring orders are shipped efficiently.
Role
* Perform warehouse duties inline with current SOP’s and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.
* Required to safely operate distribution equipment, as required, ie Counterbalance and Reach truck are essential, full up to date license required.
* Must have good PC skills to use in house software packages for Pick/Pack/Ship daily of customer orders.
* Maintain records to align with regulatory requirements.
* Operate and maintain mechanical equipment.
* Perform any in process checks.
* Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are met
* Supportive of changes.
* Support with deliveries/collection if needed
Person
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Forklift License - Essential
* Full UK Driving License - Essential
* Attention to detail and accuracy are vital.
* Self-motivated, proactive attitude, with a drive to deliver.
* Good written and spoken English.
